Enhanced Media Editing in HeyBoss
With Enhanced Media Editing, you can now update your website's background images and videos more easily than ever. This guide shows you how to transform your sections with seamless media switching.
Prerequisites
You must have edit access to your HeyBoss project.
Ensure you are in Edit Mode on your site.
How to Change Background Media
Select a block or section: In Edit Mode, click on the block or section where you want to change the background.
Click the
Change Backgroundbutton: This button appears in the editing toolbar when a block is selected.Choose your media: The unified media library will open. Browse and select either an image or a video as your new background.
Apply your changes: Click
Applyto update the background. Your selection will appear instantly in the editor.
Switching Between Images and Videos
HeyBoss now supports seamless switching between images and videos for background media. For example, you can replace a static image with a dynamic video to make your section more engaging, or swap a video for an image to simplify the design. The editor ensures a smooth transition every time.
