Enhanced Background Image Management in HeyBoss
HeyBoss now makes it easier than ever to customize your website's look. With our new Enhanced Background Image Management feature, you can select and change CSS background images directly in edit mode. This gives you more creative control and streamlines your design process.
Prerequisites
You need edit access to your HeyBoss website.
Ensure you are using the latest version of the HeyBoss editor.
How to Select and Change CSS Background Images
Open your website in edit mode.
Navigate to the page or section where you want to update a background image.
Click on the background area you want to change.
The editor will highlight CSS background images, making them selectable just like standard images.
Select a new image.
After clicking, a media picker will appear. Choose an image from your library or upload a new one.
Apply your changes.
Once selected, the new background image will appear instantly. Preview your changes and save when ready.
Example Use Case
Suppose you want to update your homepage banner's background. In edit mode, simply click on the banner area, select a new image, and see the update live—no need to edit any code or hunt for image tags.
Tips for Managing Background Images
Use high-resolution images for large background areas to avoid pixelation.
Keep file sizes optimized for faster page loading.

Remember, you can still change standard
