What is the difference between public & private projects?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

On HeybossAI, project visibility determines who can access, view, and remix your work. There are two visibility modes available: Public and Private.

By default, every project you create is set to Public visibility. This means it will appear in the Community Feed, where other users can discover, view, and remix your project. As mentioned in the previous articles, Remixing allows someone to create an independent copy of your project in their own workspace, which they can then edit and customize freely. It's important to note that remixing does not alter or interfere with your original project; your version remains intact and fully under your control.

If you prefer to keep your work private, you can opt for a Private project. This setting hides your project from the Community Feed and prevents any other user from accessing or duplicating it. Private visibility is available exclusively to users with a paid subscription. It is intended for those working on confidential projects, early-stage ideas, or production-ready builds that aren’t yet ready to be shared publicly.

Private projects are only available for paid subscribers

These visibility settings give you flexibility in how you share your work, whether you're looking to collaborate, inspire, or build in isolation.
