How to publish your project?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Once your project is ready to go live, you can publish it to generate a shareable URL. This URL allows anyone with the link to view your website as a fully rendered, public-facing page. Publishing makes your project accessible outside the editor environment, transforming it from a workspace into a live, functional website that can be shared, embedded, or distributed across platforms.

Use Heyboss Domain

After clicking Publish, select the option Host on a free Heyboss domain, which is the default setting. Once published, your project will be assigned a Heyboss domain–based shareable URL. This link can be used to access your live site from any browser.

This option allows you to quickly deploy your website without configuring a custom domain, making it ideal for testing, sharing drafts, or launching early versions.

Use Custom Domain

After clicking Publish, choose the option I own a Domain and proceed to connect your custom domain (e.g., www.yourname.com). The system will automatically detect your domain registrar; such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, Hostinger, or others, and prompt you to authorize access.

Once authorized, HeybossAI will handle the configuration automatically, linking your project to your domain without requiring manual DNS setup. Your website will then be hosted on your custom domain and accessible via a clean, professional URL.

Example format: https://www.yourname.com
