Introducing the Next Steps Panel in HeyBoss

The Next Steps Panel is a powerful new feature in HeyBoss designed to help you efficiently manage your project after completing your Minimum Viable Product (MVP). With personalized recommendations and easy-to-use controls, you can prioritize and execute essential tasks with confidence.

Prerequisites

  • You must have completed your MVP in HeyBoss.

  • Your Product Requirements Document (PRD) should be up to date for accurate recommendations.

  • Some features may require a subscription. Unsubscribed users will see a pricing modal before proceeding.

How to Use the Next Steps Panel

  1. Access the Next Steps Panel: After finishing your MVP, the panel will appear automatically in your HeyBoss dashboard.

  2. Review Recommended Tasks: The panel auto-detects features from your PRD, such as e-commerce integration, forms, login, booking, and blog. Each task includes a concise description and a detailed prompt for AI execution.

  3. Start All Tasks: Click the Start All button to approve and queue all recommended tasks at once. This streamlines your workflow and saves time.

  4. Manage Individual Tasks: Remove any task you don't need by clicking the [x] button next to it. This helps you focus only on relevant features.

  5. Track Progress: Use the progress indicator to monitor the status of your executing tasks in real time.

  6. Subscription Notice: If you are not subscribed, a pricing modal will appear when you try to start tasks. Review the options and upgrade if needed to continue.

Tips for Maximizing Productivity

  • Keep your PRD updated to ensure accurate feature recommendations.

  • Use the Start All option for a quick start, or customize your task list by removing unnecessary items.

  • Regularly check the progress indicator to stay informed about your project's status.

  • Review the pricing modal for transparency on costs before approving new tasks.

After launching your MVP, you want to add an e-commerce store and a contact form. The Next Steps Panel automatically detects these needs from your PRD and lists them as recommended tasks. With one click, you approve both, and HeyBoss begins implementing them while you track progress—all without manual setup.
