HeybossAI credits are the digital units used to power key features across the platform. They are used whenever the platform’s AI performs a task i.e. generates, refines, or adds features to your project, as well as when you run certain tools from the features.
Credits are only deducted when the AI is working for you. Manual edits made by you don’t use credits.
When credits are used
Generating and editing projects
Credits are used whenever you:
Generate a new website from a prompt
Refine or edit an existing project through the prompt box
Apply AI-assisted changes to layouts, content, or design
These actions involve the AI interpreting your instructions and producing updates, which is why they consume credits.
Adding features and generating assets
Credits are also used when you add or create new elements through AI-powered tools. This includes:
Connecting features from the App Store that run AI tasks (e.g., chatbots, voice generators, scrapers)
Embedding dynamic media that requires AI processing
Using the AI Generator in the Library to create images, graphics, GIFs, or other visual assets on demand
Note: When visitors interact with these features on your site, credits are deducted automatically to cover those service calls.
When credits are not used
Credits are not deducted for manual updates in the visual editor. This includes:
Selecting Edit, making changes to text, images, layout, or design by hand, and saving
Uploading existing media files (images, PDFs, videos) directly without using an AI generation tool
Adjusting settings or rearranging components without AI involvement
If the AI is not performing a task, your credits remain unchanged.
Imagine You’ve built a product review website that includes AI-generated summaries and voice playback.
When a visitor clicks to hear a spoken summary, the AI image or voice generation tool is triggered.
Each time that happens, credits are deducted based on the cost of processing the request.
